[ Köln, November 12th, 2013 © rke, english below ] – Tout d’abord, je me permets de reprendre la plume pour vous signaler que l’une de mes images sur Rosetta (le Professeur Holger Sierks) est parue dans le magazine allemand Max Planck Forschung du célèbre Institut Max Planck. Puis une autre sur le site internet américain de mon confrère journaliste Ken Kremer. Evidemment, cela me fait plaisir. Non pas par me vanter, mais pour me soulager. Mes efforts sont quand même récompensés de temps en temps.

Voilà. Je pianote en ce moment sur mon ordinateur au cœur du centre spatial allemand DLR à Cologne. C’est là que l’atterrisseur Philae de la sonde Rosetta a été mis au point avec des contributions significatives d’autres institutions européennes. L’ambiance devient de plus en plus fébrile. De nombreux et intéressants exposés sont donnés dans la salle principale du centre avec des détails très intéressants sur la structure de cette sonde de 100 kg, notamment des panneaux solaires flanqués sur sa coque. Du bon temps, vraiment.

Philae runs on the comet 67P, Köln holds its breath 

First of all, I take the pen to tell you something about my job. My job… of photographer. So, one of my images on Rosetta (Professor Holger Sierks) was published in the German magazine Max Planck Forschung the famous Max Planck Institute. Then another image on the US website my of my collegue journalist Ken Kremer. Obviously, these both publications make me happy. Not to brag, but to relieve me. My work is rewarded. 

Well, I tap currently on my computer at the heart of the Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR) in Köln. This is where the Philae lander of the Rosetta probe was developed with significant contributions from other European institutions. The atmosphere becomes increasingly febrile. Many interesting speachs are held in the main hall of the center with very interesting details about the structure of the Philae probe og 100 kg, including solar panels flanked on its hull. Good time, really.
